I made this presentation in my 8th grade Religion class. For this project, my class was split into multiple groups that each had to research a specific religion for two weeks. Then, when the two weeks were up, we had to present our findings to the rest of the class. My group was given the religion of Mormonism and we decided to present our religion in the slide show linked below. We decided to present with a slide show because we thought it would be the best way to display the confusing and disturbing creation/nature of Mormonism. I was the most proud of my group’s preparation and research for this project. I say this because I believe we spent our time wisely, learning as much as we could in only two weeks. However the most challenging part of this project was trying to understand the Mormon’s beliefs about creation and the afterlife. If I ever did this project again I would definitely take more time to research these two things.
